Over the course of my career I’ve been required to produce written content across many different mediums, and in many different styles and tones. Below are a few examples:

This was a blog written for the Director General of the GSMA in the early days of the pandemic. It was a fast-developing situation and required us to show leadership as well as be the voice of an entire industry.

The WEF provides a high-profile platform for global personalities to share thought leadership. This article, another prepared for the GSMA Director General, highlights the action being taken on climate change by the mobile industry.

This is an example of a bylined article successfully pitched to a telecoms publication. The aim here was to highlight how the client was working in a highly topical and controversial area (data privacy), while providing an alternative viewpoint.

This was a sponsored editorial on a major news platform, raising awareness of a programme to enable digital birth registrations in the developing world.

An example of how to use research and data points to set the agenda ahead of a large industry event.

I’m often dealing with complex information that needs clarity to resonate with a wider audience. A blog post is a good platform for doing the unpacking and explaining.

Writing for audiences such as investors and analysts requires a formal style with the ability to handle large amounts of data and statistical information.

Away from work, I occasionally write about things I like, such as cycling and The Beatles!
